Outlines
The training opens by looking at why AI is becoming important in modern product development. Participants discuss how AI is already shaping the way teams work, from the tools they use to how they communicate and make decisions. This session sets the context for why Scrum Masters need to understand AI today.
The course explains important AI concepts in a clear and practical way. Instead of technical depth, the focus is on what these ideas mean for everyday work. Participants learn how systems learn from data, how AI identifies patterns, how generative AI creates content, and how goal-driven AI behaves. Equal attention is given to what AI can and cannot do.
Participants explore how AI can assist Scrum Masters in their responsibilities. This includes preparing for Scrum events, supporting teams with better insights, and helping the organisation improve ways of working. Real examples show how AI acts as a support tool while human judgment and collaboration remain central.
The training walks through each Scrum event using relatable situations. Participants see how AI can help refine sprint goals, highlight risks, improve daily scrum conversations, organize feedback for sprint reviews, and design more focused retrospectives. The emphasis stays on practical support rather than automation for its own sake.
Learners actively practice using generative AI tools. They work on writing clear instructions, improving AI responses, and checking whether outputs are useful and accurate. Repeated exercises help participants build confidence in using AI effectively within Scrum-related activities.
The course covers simple ways AI can support routine Scrum Master tasks. This includes drafting stakeholder updates, preparing for meetings, creating summaries, and documenting improvement actions. Participants learn how AI can blend into existing workflows without adding complexity.
Participants discuss the importance of using AI carefully and thoughtfully. Topics include protecting sensitive information, recognizing potential bias, and making fair, balanced decisions. The goal is to encourage smart usage rather than blind reliance on tools.
The training also addresses how Scrum Masters can guide teams and leaders when introducing AI. This involves encouraging experimentation, handling concerns, and setting clear boundaries for safe use. The course concludes by reinforcing the Scrum Master’s role as a facilitator of learning and positive change.
