Learn more about the factors that keep your employees happy at work here.

Hello there! Welcome to our Friday Blog once again. Today our topic will be focusing on employee’s happiness because according to a survey that was done by Jobstreet.com, 78% out of 1,145 Malaysian workers are not happy. So what about you? On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your happiness, working in your current company?
Okay, let’s say that you’re not quite happy with it. What would you think could re-spark your joy at work? For now, we will ditch the money factor, I mean, who wouldn’t be happy when they see money right? So, would you agree if I said these would potentially enlighten your day at work:
More Annual Leaves
Companies should give their employees some extra time off to go on a holiday or rest at home. This provide the opportunity to get their mind off work and do things they like to boost their happiness.
A Well-done Compliment
This has proven to put a smile on people’s face as well as indirectly encouraging them to work harder. Not only that, they will feel recognized as well.
Flexibility
Being monitored whether or not you did your job can lead to employee dissatisfaction. Frankly, who would want to be monitored daily by their superior every time they take a break from their work right? Unless the employee does not deliver the task on time, then yes, you should check on their productivity.
Work Life Balance
Balancing between work and your personal life is sometimes tough considering the amount of workloads. However, work can never be completely finished and one thing you could do to make sure you be home on time is – prioritization.
Afterall, Happy Employees Make Happy Customers. So, make sure to check on your team and your level of happiness working in the company and how you could make some changes in achieving a happy work lifestyle. Until then, Happy Friday!
