Candy Chua completed her Bachelor of Information Technology (information System) degree at Charles Sturt University Australia in year 1998. She started her career as an Analyst Programmer at MBF Information System Sdn. Bhd. After a year, she had decided to change her career path in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. She has an extensive experience in Software Test Management with more than 20 years experiences of establishing and operationalising Quality Management in IT industry specifically in Banking Industry. She served in various Software QA positions with BFSI companies such as Scope International Sdn. Bhd. (a.k.a. SCB Global Business Services Sdn. Bhd.), HP Enterprise Services – CIMB client, and RHB Group
Clientele
She setup and operationalised a Testing Centre Of Excellence (TCOE) team in RHB Group, from a team size of 2 staff to 12 staff which covers Test Management function, Test Automation function, Test Environment & Support function. She championed the growth and development of the TCOE in all aspects from resources, methodology, governance, policies, executions, implementations. She led and implemented the testing strategies and approaches for key complex projects and Bank Negara regulatory projects successfully. She conducted RHB in-house customised Software Testing training courses on monthly basis to > 500 RHB staff locally and across regional countries. She has received very high ratings by participants of all her programs conducted.
