EOS – Windows 7 & Office 2010

Every good thing must come to an end, for it needs to make ways for a better future (we are referring to Windows 10 and Office 365 when we mentioned better future).

It‘s finally coming, Microsoft is going to end the support for Windows 7 on 14 January 2020 and Microsoft Office 2010 on October 2020. This means that there won’t be any security and features update from Microsoft on both.

Why does it matter to us?

Although Windows 7 and Office 2010 still can be used and operate even after the end of support, there are tons of reason why you should not keep using it;

  • NO MORE SECURITY UPDATE

Isn’t this one reason is enough for you to not continue using Windows 7? Come to think of it, nothing, no one single reason, is worth for you to risk your own resources and data. End of Support means that Microsoft will not update Windows 7 and Office 2010 with latest security defense mechanism. Which means your device and data will be much more vulnerable to latest attack. Paying for the upgrade is better than paying for ransomware, right?

  • No more features update

Everyone love Microsoft products for a reason, and the most convincing reason will be that they provide a lot of features that will help us instantaneously increase our productivity. End Of Support means that Windows 7 and Office 2010 will not be receiving the latest features from Microsoft. Isn’t that a waste
