Today, all over the world, many projects fail due to poor project management practices. And this has been found true in construction, IT and manufacturing projects. Some of the key reasons for poor practices are:

  • Lack of correct know-how
  • Poor or inaccurate reporting
  • Absence of proper project control procedures
  • The 3 primary success elements in any projects are – Time, Cost and Quality. What quite often happens in projects is that project managers are efficient and professional in their management of time. However, behind this is the poor handling of the cost and quality factors. In the end-analysis, the project still hits a crisis or heads for failure.
